By the way, the Akamori motto, 一殺多生, is read issatsu-tasshou and means, "killing one, many live", basically that it's okay to kill one person to save many. That's debatable, but not outright evil, so it might imply that the family see themselves as righteous executioners of martial artists that stray off the good way. Or maybe we'll find out that the family are hypocritical, and may have been like that in the past, but now are just murderers. We'll see.
