@KingoRodriguo page 7, aside from being an honorific used for athletes 選手/senshu also just means "player" or "athlete," so I think you can safely translate that line as "Here we have player Kouyou!"

"Challenger" also works in English (ie, "challenger Kouyou"), but it's a different word in Japanese so there's that.
