@sleepymonkey dunno if its differ in LN, but in WN this Georg is reincarnation of one of vice-leader of War God, but after the war of age of gods finish, he kept fighting and killing because of his killing impulse and transform into a fallen gods, killed and reincarnated into the Underworld realm , thats why he knows Dran previous form, one of the 7 divine dragon of beginning , since Dran previous life was the bane of all Evil Gods

Might as well stop that sentence there. WN to LN to Manga/Anime is like a game of telephone.

Anyway, if you're going to travel through a dimensional portal your allies plan to close soon to fight a powerful enemy that you didn't really show an advantage over so far, you should probably leave a note by the portal or something. Perhaps not "Don't worry guys, I got this. I had to hold back before or I kind of would've wiped this forest off the map, but I can do it if I don't have to worry about the terrain and the people living on it," but something to at least indicate your intention to come back. The assumption he was buying time so they could close the portal even with him on the other side of it was kind of a logical one with what most of them have to go on.

@sleepymonkey I mean, the demon was already going out of his way to make the fight more convenient for Dran. In a fantasy setting like this there's probably something to clue them in on his plan with that doesn't take more than a second and wouldn't have really ruined the tension or anything (if there even was any, I completely feel like I'm watching Saitama and Boros squaring off).

This is actualy a good manga, but it seens to suffer of a Chuunibyou disease, where the villains should cause a outrage feeling in us, causing a hype for the battles of the protagonists, but in the end, the villains are just plain characters and the battless turn out to be anticlimatic...
