Whether it was a conscious or subconscious thing, it sure sounds like we have some insight into what the author's opinion is of influencers. =)

Two different people. One is the living one from the current inn, while the other one is the dead one from the old inn. The hairstyle may confuse you but that's a basic hairstyle for inn workers I guess?

Makube did notice the alien that imitated the influencer and chose to do nothing in ch19. Makube has yet to show skills to win against aliens so you're asking too much out of him.

Damn... so Tanaka really was a yandere after all and brought Chigarashi over to the old inn to get her killed. A yandere using ghosts to kill? That's new to me. Good thing she didn't drink the obviously spiked bottle of tea she was offered.

Sucks for Nene this time around that Mahina is the one riding shotgun with Kaoru, but important things needed to be talked about.
Also, didn't Kurohiji have a thing for the inn owner? IIRC I saw her leaving the inn dining area with him in one chapter, I guess she's puzzled seeing him in such bad shape.

All the danger and violence Chigarashi has suffered and survived and beaten back so far in this story and she couldn't find the backbone to punch the slimy face of her attempted murderer, or at least put on an evil smile and congratulate her on her soon to be freedom once the inn fails and she gets laid off? I was hoping she would have had that much character development by now, at least.

Iruko already pointed out on Makube rules, that he wont interfere if theres no damage report send to him, except for this girl. That's why he didn't do nothing to that beach house or help the others except for that student dad since he got the report from 15 yrs ago and that guy might know about his mentor
