So basically, they can't just kill Kizaki, because all his cronies would do is make him a martyr. They need to defeat the crazy students first, starting with this cultish plastic surgery center! Where all these ladies are turned beautiful, yet have the same face. That's definitely scary. Thanks to Mimoto, they now have access to the school too, and the culture festival will bring in new unfortunates.

I wonder how Illko and Chiragashi will defeat these strange monsters.

My prediction is that they'll try to stop Kizaki from setting up his booth, fail, and then at the cultural festival, they'll stop him by "revealing the truth" behind his tales by making up some boring ass excuse. Nothing kills interest faster than reality after all.

Ala In/Spectre, that'd be fun.

I suppose the format for this arc will be that they'll deal with the different occult mysteries involving each survivor of the seminar before confronting Kizaki himself, and Fujimiya likely being the second to last survivor to deal with. However, I wonder if they'll have time to finish it all before the college cultural festival begins?

Also, on pg. 15-16 did they just... casually get some plastic surgery themselves? A face-lift is a kind of surgery isn't it?

Come the f**k on... Take the seminar survivors into protective custody, and cancel the festival.

Kizaki-sensei's seminar was part of the university's official autumn curriculum. The administration therefore has enrollment and attendance lists on file. The police would have had and been investigating that information within hours of the incident. And Illko-san can apparently call in a government-sanctioned bombing with a phone call. In the wake of 13 spontaneously decapitated students, she could certainly get a school festival cancelled (or at least heavily policed) in order to prevent "mass genocide" [sic].

This series is a lot of fun, but lazy writing sometimes undermines it.

Amazing how you're talking about mass genocide on a school while the massage employees are here listening to all this without batting an eye.

"Mass genocide"? Makes no sense.
Genocide is per definition a event affecting massive numbers of people, an entire genos (ethnicity). And just killing lots of people would not be a genocide, that would require killing or seriously reducing the numbers of their ethnicity. Killing lots of people at their univesity would "just" be mass murder.
