Except the demons who inhabited him were so powerful, it failed. And now he's all alone. His uncle drills into him that his duty is to make money because of all the havoc he has caused.

Even Iruko (wasn't it Illko before? @Tanzanite ) could see that her friend was suffering, but what could she do?

Enter Nimura! He seems to be a good mentor for the priesty Kizaki! Was Kizaki an actual priest, or does he dress up as one? Well, whatever the case Nimura's shown to be very competent at expelling demons with ease. All he needed was salt!

I wonder how Iruko and Makube ended up under his care in college?

The good ol' "for the good of the community" mentality we see in Japanese culture, were the powerful screw over someone saying that it is the right thing to do, and fill their pockets.

Iruko really was trying her best since then XD... but loving a depressed gyaru-oh is a tough job.

Now what I do question is Iruko and what she said during the hot springs exorcism. Nimura-sensei is missing, but she doesn't want to find him.

Iruko/Illko introduces herself as ill子 (illko) when she first appeared and met Chigarashi, and that's how the raws showed so I went with that. It also sometimes changes to 射呼 (iruko) when other people like Makube addresses her. So, I switched according to how the raws showed it.

He was an outcast in his own clan, and apparently the killer of his own father, the prvious family head. So it seems his tattoos aren't merely ordinary tats. It seems like an advancing pattern based on his usage of his exorcism power. It started as one symbol as a kid, and has completely covered his arm by the present time.

Man, whenever I see the trio of Makube, Yaema and Kizaki as college exorcists I just can not unsee Oshino, Kagenui and Kaiki from Monogatari who were also a trio of supernatural specialists in college. I keep wondering if Nimura looking like an older Oshino is really just a coincidence.
