A disturbing lack of nice boats but some mighty fine cutlery.

Both the anime and the manga teach us that indecisiveness never brings about your truly good end.

@sarshi Try Uwa-Koi, which is also an infidelity harem that comes back to bite, and I personally believe to be better than this one.

How did this get an anime lol.
anyway if you're here for the psychological horror tag like I was, don't waste your time. It's a cliched shoujo romance 99% of the way through and it was a painfully slow drag at that lol.

The ending was actually kinda good and the anime if you think about it it’s actually good too besides the part where he gets killed everything else is pretty dam realistic

Much better then the anime (which isn't saying much but work with me here).

Makoto is much better here then in the anime, though he isn't better by a whole lot since he does make some pretty stupid decisions here

It also takes Kotonoha down from being the best character in the anime as she is now just kinda... eh

This is all window dressing however as the story eventually ruins a lot of this in the final two chapters by tanking its entire ending.

Makoto decides to break up with Sekai after cheating on Kotonoha multiple times even having a very... interesting scene with her in her room

This then leads to Kotonoha going coo coo for cocoa puffs as she then proceeds to attack Sekai after Makoto dumped her and tried to apologize to her, and this is not that good.

It makes sense for Kotonoha to be mentally disturbed and unstable but she goes from shy girl to crazy yandere in a single chapter.

This is a problem that is shared in the anime but it isn't as noticeable because it's done at a slightly slower pace and she ends up killing Sekai, everyone's second least favorite character right behind Makoto himself.

And then the final chapter took the last remains of this series and threw it into the darkest pits of hell.

Makoto is in a hospital, Kotonoha is somehow not arrested or apprehended for her crazy decision, and it's revealed that Sekai killed Kotonoha off-screen and I don't think i need to say why this is a complete 180 in terms of character twice now, so I'll just leave it at that.

This is much better then the anime and I'm glad it is at least okay, especially since the early chapters are pretty decent.

However it starts to turn into an absolute disaster once Sekai and Makoto start dating behind Kotonoha's back and it never recovers afterwards.

Currently a 5/10 in my eyes and I don't see that rating changing with time
