Also, It's a shame the series is still on hiatus. I loved to read it, digged the comedy, the characters, the story, and the clean art style.
I guess it was becoming increasingly heavy for the author to continue with the series (she often posted on twitter how she barely slept and how her health wasn't doing so good), so it makes sense she did.

I hope she'll keep making great stories, and that one day she returns to school zone.

I thought it'd be a couple months' hiatus but the author straight up doesn't want to write School Zone anymore (for the time being), but also realises that rushing an ending could be something they come to regret.
It's a bummer for sure but, gotta respect that creative process I suppose, they're better off rekindling that passion with their other ideas than resent School Zone and dropping the ball down the line.
They seem really good at developing characters and tying them together, I hope to enjoy their next work

I'm honestly glad they made the best choice for their creative and mental health, I'd rather see them write a variety of projects they're motivated to do than grind themselves down on a series they feel obligated to finish

Kaname might be the more kinder portrayals of a psychopath that I've ever seen, lmao. Although she does, in fact, do all the things that you expect from a psychopath (manipulative, lacks empathy, enjoys behavior outside of social norms (gyaru), etc).

It's already been over a year since Hiatus has begun. I've gone through longer hiatuses before (Land of the Lustrous, infamously) but School Zone's my absolute favorite manga so I get bummed everytime I remember the hiatus... I love Ningiyau's writing and art so I'll probably still support whatever they decide to put out.
