They only have one instance of it contained, they don't know where Prometheus Labs are located so they can't stop them from making more.

Prometheus Labs motto is "the customer is always right", even if they didn't understand what the customer was talking about.

I mean, the kind of people to make such order likely doesn't react well to a 'no'

If someone wanna be the example, feel free, just let someone else know so they can record the result to show anyone else with the same thought.

It's true that it works only in writing (phonetically, those words have accent/stress on different syllables), and only in plural form.
But for some random scientist dude who barely knows russian, it might be enough to confuse the two.

I imagine the situation where someone stubbed the toe and screams "f*ck!", while the other person, knowing only technical side of the language, think "why is he suddenly screaming about copulation?".
It's slightly different here, but just an example that someone who just knows the language sometimes might make an absurd mistake, that someone who actually "speaks" that language would never imagine.
