Well, I did it. Now both of my ideas have been realized.

I rarely make threads so I didn't know it showed similar threads when you input a title.

Pokemon remakes are scrapped, because of the "blunder" of the Diamond and Pearl remakes. They are going to make the 3rd version a combination of references to old games, with new DLC's of course.

They are following the same path that card makers did when they introduced reprints called Revised Edition ( a reprint which has no power 9 ), 4th Edition - 9th Edition, X Edition ( Black Bordered reprints ), M10 to M21 ( the "core" sets, black bordered but actually just reprints of mid cards ).

They're going to do this to pokemon too. Fire Red, Leaf Green, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire will never be re-released again.

But I held back because it might be not be well-received and might hurt other people who don't make it to the top...and well, considering how not-well liked I am, it might just end up backfiring at me double fold.

Other option would be to put more regulars in there, as part of the joke.
