Hi, there's a thing that's been bothering me for a while now: whenever I search for a specific title, the system gives seemingly arbitrary preference in regard to results, that differs from actual relevance. For example if I were to look up 'Monster', a renown work, I won't find it in the search results at all, even though it's in the DB (https://mangadex.org/title/1101/monster).

It's weird and more of a hit-and-miss situation: it works OK with some titles ("One Piece, Bleach), and it kindaworks with some (in the case with Death Note, for some obscure reason, it lists some random doujinshi first, and only secondly the very title), or when searching for "Love Hina", it'd first show me some Love Live! doujin (lol) and some other stuff, when finally we'll see Love Hina on the 7th place.

I mean, in that regard the search can work better, can it now?

Err, it looks like it depends on how many unique views a manga page has. If you search for Berserk, it'd give you "Berserk of Gluttony" with more views first.

So, is it possible to add search preferences or maybe just make the search by relevance as a default one? In theory, the new titles will always be preferable with the current system since with time more and more users join us. And they usually follow the ongoing series.

TL;DR Please make the search by relevance (name matching) as a default one and/or add search preferences (date, popularity, relevance, etc)

どうもありがとう~

Well, ok then, but it doesn't really resolve the problem. Incidentally, now I wonder why would it sort by last updated, it's kinda weird.
