Search results bugged

Search results for certain criteria are showing only a few manga (11 results shown for "thriller" tag, no exclusions) and the listed number is usually wrong, either not allowing me to see the full list of results or showing many blank pages past the full list. My OS is Windows 8.1 64-bit, issue observed in Chrome with and without extensions as well as Firefox clean install.

The results are correct, the pagination is bugged. The reason you're only seeing so few is because the tag is new.

I think I'm having the same problem. Page 1 results were normal, but page 2 is empty.

I tested with the action tag and it worked correctly.

The search feature is definitely bugged.
Sometimes I get 10k+ results and sometimes just a few hundred with the same search criteria (happens mostly if I swap the result page).
There are also cases in that I get shown a specific number of results (e.g. 5k+) but it shows me nothing on the page or just 3 entries while it says "Showing 51 to 100 of 1,362 titles".

there is something with the search, i can't find any mangas when i include 2 tags now. a few mins ago it was working fine now it just says "Notice: There are no titles found with your search criteria. You can add the title here." but when i remove one tag it can find mangas please fix it.

Not sure if this is related to what was fixed, but exclusion tags don't work correctly for me anymore. I have a search that excludes Action/Adventure and the first result is that (among others). This search worked yesterday so it's something recent that changed.

The issue isn't fixed. I searched with the following criterias: Action, Adventure & Fantasy - It did not give me anything to read. It gives me the following message: "Notice: There are no titles found with your search criteria. You can add the title here."

I also searched using Action, Adventure & Isekai. Same problem.

Please note that the search worked 6hours ago. So something must have happened in this timeframe.

EDIT: Coming back with a small update (don't know how much this can help you guys but im trying since i used to be a game tester). I just tried different criterias for the search and nothing is working so here are my tests:

Case 1: At least 2 criterias used for search ( doesn't matter from what category it is, it's bugger for all of them: Content/Format/Genre/Theme ) - always bugged, it will always give no results.
Case 2: If only 1 criteria is used then the search works.

So I tested the above and excluded tags are working the same way, which explains my problem. If I exclude a single tag, it is properly excluded. If I exclude multiple tags, then it's ignored and I get search results with my excluded tags.

I'm sure the pagination issue that this thread was about was fixed, but I guess the change also inadvertently broke using multiple tags. Weird, since I'm pretty sure it worked on my test server.

Page 1 works fine, it's the pages after it that don't.

Edit: When I was searching for different tags, it only finds 49 results. I checked Gore and Fantasy.
When I researched with the Gore tag, it says 1,176 titles with pages 3+ being empty, and when I searched again it says 28,807 titles.

@firelight As Holo just mentioned, the pagination fix was reverted because it broke the tag search. I'll fix it tomorrow or so when I get back home after celebrating the new year.

The issue is due to the pagination's caching behavior not taking the tags into account, so it just displays whatever amount with the same search was cached previously.
