Searching for a manga i read years ago

I wanna say I read this back in like 2012-2013 or so because I recall getting the volumes from the library.
It was about a guy who was a demon (I think, I remember there's a scene where he's in the cold and his breath can't be seen bc he's no human) and he has this sidekick guy who's like a puppet type thing with yarn for hair.
There's a girl, and I think she was in love with the Demon guy? I really don't remember much, but I remember I drew the puppet guy once so I obviously really liked this series lol
If I see the manga, I'll definitely recognize it bc I srly was kinda obsessed with it as a kid
