@TOTA23 Terms are a bit broad there given the variety we could draw from on snakes and cats. Let's say that the snake and cat representation used here is where we're drawing the line, since that was likely your intention anyway. But what kind of snake is that, is it extremely venomous? Even if the cat killed such a snake, it's pretty likely to go down with it since the snake is surely fighting back. Not exactly a victory for either side. I suppose either one could manage a kill without being hurt by the other, given the right circumstances.
But it also occurs to me that there's an awful lot of videos of cats being absolutely terrified of things that even resemble a snake, such as a cucumber. Some scientists have asserted that they're hardwired to avoid snakes with some sort of fear reflex. Of course, then some people have also seen their cats catch, kill, and drag a dead snake over to them like "Look at what I caught." It's a toss up no matter how I look at it, either it depends on the specific cat and snake species or it depends on the personalities of the two animals in question.
The TL;DR version would probably be "I guess they can kill a snake, but the easily bit is in question without more to go on."
