I was also frustrated thinking how is he going to realise that she is reincarnated. But I went ahead and checked the raws and her question wasn't so out of the ordinary.

She met with him when she left her home.
He ran out of the house at that time. He was in highschool and she was a primary schooler. It wasn't a a too big of a coincidence because she went by her previous house and stopped by his house when she saw him run out of there. She had a little chat with him by the bench he was crying at.
