It seems like it was that way in the WN translation as well. The point of the class is that it's something that anyone with a 'criminal' class can theoretically switch to. If they max it out, they can go back to being a non-criminal. Ichino is kinda broken in that he can switch his or others' classes so readily, and gets called out on how broken it is.


Even the goddesses talk about how unbalanced their world is, though.

Agreed. That's why she should have stayed dead. The whole reveal of her "dying" made the whole thing genuinely sad, because by the time we found out, it was already too late. Reviving her right after that didn't feel rewarding to me. It felt like the story backed away from its own consequence. But that's just my pet peeve with stories refusing to let tragic consequences stick...
