Ah yes the good ol' Azure linguistic translation. Technically the word and colour identification 'Blue' didn't exist for a while so at the time blue was also green and vise-versa. Azure is a correct word but the context of whether its more 'blue' or 'green' depends how 'Azure' is used. (Speaking as someone who is Chinese and took a linguistic class that covered this in uni).

Yeah. Always found it amusing that JP people back then for whatever reason didn’t differentiate blue and green when creating the kanji system…nor did they ever bother themselves to fix it because hiragana.
