Her bracelet can dispell a power up to a number of times. It pretty clearly hit him which means it broke whatever was afflicting him, whether it was Salome's succubus thing or something else.

I hope Erald won't get in trouble for punching the guy. I think he has enough influence and power to avoid repercussions? The last panel is kind of ominous so I'm a bit worried
Also I kept seeing Jinshi and Maomao between these two, their dynamics are too similar

Ciro is part of the same family of Erald, maybe cousins or could have been his sister, so close that he was against his father to make Ciro a Saintess candidate.
so it's kinda weird that once again Chloe is misunderstanding a character, like author is kinda forcing it for the plot.
Ok, this is just my hypothesis...
But what if someone (current suspects dresses girl, and the one that talks to the animals) caught on to Salome's condition, and is using it as a cover? Like, they use their gift/some type of magic tool to brainwash people and do what they want, BUT in the victim's mind, they are doing it for Salome, so they can avoid suspicion?
We already confirmed her female bodyguard had been brainwashed or affected with this type of power, so this would line up well with that

I don't think anything is more important than keeping your prime directive on your sights 24/7. Specially if someone else got MURDERED just recently.
Thinking about it, even if Erald was called away by some high ranking noble, couldn't he have just said no? Or something along the lines of "I'm not allowed to leave my charge's side?" Considering Cirno was killed when her knight wasn't present, you'd think he'd be more sensitive to leaving Chloe alone
