This has all genuinely felt like the sort of story that ended with the premise.

The protagonist is incredibly skilled and somewhat reasonably has low self-esteem and isn't it funny that their "cheat" skill is pulling incredibly rare ingredients out of a bag of holding.

And then nothing since then.

It's just Cinderella but worse somehow.

She's an adventurer who gathers ultra rare resources and knows how to avoid danger while being near super human. After that, nothing of this happens ever again, she's not adventuring, she's rescued by a prince who is madly in love with her and she also is in love with him who is: powerful in magic, powerful politically, intelligent, wise, rich (very important), handsome and single.

By the way, the people that did her evil are now ugly and fat in record time because people can gain weight this quickly without a single person realising - not even the person themselves. Also the people that allowed her to be treated like shit and knew she was god-like? Yeah, they never tried to help her or found weird that she's living in a shit enviroment. The people that have a lot of political power over there? Ignored all of this when they had a golden goose and only react when she's gone while blaming the young sister who's inept instead of securing themselves the golden goose.

Time to drop it I guess. This is why I only read Josei for romance...

Awwwww.

Tho hopefully the trouble the idiot sister and prince are about to cause makes us swing back to sourcer action when they make something super dangerous that fresh ingredients are needed to counteract

Fun premise, but it definitely felt rushed. It felt like it had to cut out a lot of the character development to prioritize the romance.

Maybe theres more where we see the soucer part surface again. Maybe they declare war and then materials are needed again and contsested by other sourcers? :aquadrink: :aquadrink: :aquadrink:

Hmmmm
Rotund Saintess will be coaxed into cursing someone important, maybe the Male lead, The Pervy Prince will attempt to snatch the Female Lead. Through battling, sourcing some obscure cure all, and the power of love; the day will be saved, the evildoers will be punished, and our leads will live happily ever after.
Let's see how I do in a couple of months.

There is one thing that annoys me a little in similar stories, that is the cliche "the male lead was utterly uninterested in women until he meets the female lead."
There are various ways this might work, including the world being populated with weak women only interested in marrying into wealth. This can indeed be incredibly boring to a man who likes challenging intellect and character.
Here though, this fails entirely. The story has already introduced a few competent women in different fields, and suggested that there are more offscreen. Hence, the main character is just the foremost example of in the field of "sourcing", not a uniquely skilled one in general. There is no reason that Aslan was starved for an intellectual match.
This use of the cliche is one of the worst I've read in a while.

There is also the cliche of "the sister didn't know of the MC's particular hyper-competency". Which is also extremely badly implemented here as, apparently, the sourcing skills of her big sister were widely known. Worldwide. Long before her independence. Not like this is entirely impossible given how self-centered little sister was. But 1. it had pretty low plausibility in the first place and 2. she definitely should know now and at least try to act according to her newfound understanding. Not necessarily with respect, as I wouldn't think of her being able to respect someone else, but at least plotting something a tiny bit smarter than that.

The author really applied these two cliches with a context that matches neither.
