I'd actually say it's going the opposite, the sexual acts from the beginning were merely done for experience, just because it's his job and it's their job. The time goes by and the sexual acts they do are more consensual more about about their budding affections. It's not forced, although it's not yet revealed, I can see that the theme is about a society that thinks sex is an immoral act which may be if just wanton, but they're being taught that it's okay to experience the opposite sex, sexual or not and however many participants they have as long they're fine with it (which currently lily and talia might have this discourse in the future if they would be fine with sharing)
