while i'm looking forward to the anime, i hope it can deliver quality. but i also wonder why Shit Scans took so long for recent releases, since, at least to me, the anime release was a fairly new announcement and in the past year we only had 3 released chapters, including this one. not sure if a hiatus took place to be honest though, i would have liked to read more releases, but parting with a series in favor of redirecting readers here to official english releases is a fine reason to me.

No, the childhood friend is Miharu, she showed up already in ch 34.
Miharu and the 2 kids were walking with 2 other people. This 2 other people were summoned as heroes, so the other 3 got dragged into this world. One of the two heroes is Satsuki, which is likely the girl that appeared at the end of this chapter.
