They were insufferable idiots 5 years ago and they are even bigger f*ucheads now. I can't stand those kind of persons in stories. Please, let the minotaur have fun with at least the tall blonde guy, who bumped into the princess.

The author did a great job to make the antagonists really unlikable. There aren't many stories on mangadex, where the evil guys/girls grind my gears, but this one and the Star Martial Got Technique accomplish that.

Quite the opposite for me, this feels really like bad writing. It's not that difficult to make a person unlikable, but really difficult to do that while still making them seem like a real person. The way these guys are it feels like they are doing bad stuff for no reason at all. Even a sentiment like "nobles don't like commoners" has its limits.

That entire group is full of fucking idiots, especially Flora. You’re seriously telling me that Rio can save you twice now and you can’t offer up a better defense on his behalf? Having read the WN up through chapter 107 or so, I'll just say that you're all in for a disappointment.

That said, there's a lot of adaptation decay here. Having read the original, I know a lot of what's being hidden (and some of the unlikable characters are even more unlikable than you know), but at least they had somewhat better reasons originally.

@SuppeBargeld: Maybe it's just me. I usually don't care much for any antagonists, no matter their motivations. Even supposedly well written unlikable baddies don't get much more out of me than a bored "meh", but these one's really push my buttons.
For playing devil's advocate here, we don't know much about them anyway, so they don't have a lot going for them except the "don't like commoner-quoth the isekai noble"-trope. An (almost) blank canvas for our MC to shine.

Can you tell me, which well-written antagonists you had in mind, who were also still relatable for being a real person?

I dropped the web novel soon after this point. The MC just keeps doing this shit over and over again.
Huurr, if I do this it'll be troublesome, huuuuuurrr!
This fucking jackass has the forward-thinking ability of a shrew! All he does, ALL HE EVER DOES, is push his troubles forward in time, letting them pile up and grow. It doesn't help that he has zero desires and is like, omg, soooo aloof guyz!

The regular Isekai anti-Noblesse Oblige is also put on way too thick in this story.

I don't really mind trying to emphasise how much the nobles are unlikable, but damn, that's all this manga has done up until now.

Please make the MC do something... other that trying to be invisible, not showing the people around him (or even us) what he is capable of...
I was even happy when he decided to start his journey now, thinking we might at last have a bit of story progression... but then that Minotaur arrived and smashed my illusions.

This is getting boring because I don't know where the author is leading to... If this was for a revenge story, that would be fine, but I seriously doubt that...

Most of these characters have a spectacularly punchable face.

My previous sentiment only grows stronger with each passing chapter. I've never read a manga more exasperating. Now I'm just reading this to see if some of these people start dying. ...if not, I may just drop this altogether if this is all the sort of story we're going to get.

I come from a place where people really this shitty because you're the other. So to me this is an accurate description of the dark side of humanity. Life isn't sunshine and rainbows for everyone.
