I do kinda like that they aren't "He seems okay so that's done it" but "we nearly killed a good person over a misunderstanding, we need to give a proper apology to him and not half-ass it", even holding a whole freaking meeting about it. That's kinda rare in mangas.

@Dragox @EtanRed you guys said it perfectly. They don't even let the story develop. They just want to slap the "beta male" title on anyone that doesn't act line Light Yagami or Lelouch.

It seems like like the anime and manga community is full of incels that complain when every little thing doesn't go their way or when a moral protagonist comes along. But they also complain when it's too edgy. It got go bad that I blocked that Kronix dude just to find translators on Reddit trying to find ways to ban him from reading their works days later.

And the reparations that they give him for accidentally assaulting him are things that humans can't find or ever hope to reproduce . But they're dropping it because he's not a genocidal Vegeta clone.

After going through such an unfair experience, atleast demand an apology from those guilty.

Those nattering on about 'beta' this and 'beta' that however mostly seem silly to me though, at times I wonder if they use it as some sort of universal word like the smurfs use theirs.

@victorsant Well his story so far explains it a bit. I mean he's kinda gotten used to the short end of the stick. Its not a good thing by any means but its understandable.

I understand people are sick of MCs forgiving people for no reason but times like this it makes sense for the character. So i think people need to differentiate the two.

However they also need to remember that to make an issue out of it when there is no further need for conflict is illogical. It would be more a sign of your own weakness than strength. There are times to fight and times to let things go. Its one of those "be the bigger man" situations. If the other side knows they screwed up, which they do, then you can move forward.

The time when you shouldn't let it go is when they proceed to think they were right or deny their own fault. Classic evil nobles or anime tsundere stuff. You need to make it clear to people like that where all of you stand. They are not good people after all so you need to protect yourself and others from future incidents.
