While the rules do make sense normally this is very much so not a normal situation, normally you don't want a fire spirit nuking a city or burning a forest to the ground so the rules make sense in those cases but when the task is revitalizing the "Dead lands" I feel like the rules can and should be loosened and the punishment system relaxed a bit (the punishment system needs work as is but that's a different matter) at least for the area the work is being done at, so with that in mind they should go to their boss and ask about getting an overseer.
They should also ask about Yuuta while they're at it since he is an anomaly in this world.
