I usually try to give a girl like this a chance, but her immediately saying 'It's fine since you love me right' after telling him to disappear (at least from her perspective) is a hell naw to me. Kid's pretty entitled.

This is my prediction based on the three chapters:

She time leaps to many years into the future. Due to this, she 'disappears' from the world (missing) for those X years she leaps. Say, she leaps 15 yrs into the future. Then, the world would have known her to have been missing for 15 yrs, and everyone essentially moves on. The dude that she likes either has moved to another state or country or passed away or move on with his feelings. So does the male MC feelings.

She was bloody unaware there's someone genuinely interested in her for some time, instead focused to have a crush on a person who so far was making fun of her and already in a relationship.
