It makes sense why it was axed, though still through some bullshit. Author probably felt they had to get the premise out as quick as possible, which made them rush and it blew its load too early. They were probably pressured and they ended the first loop basically immediately, which made it not have any of the impact of a timeloop.

Oh wow, I was reading this on another site and didn't know it got axed, but that answers a lot of questions I had regarding the last few chapters, especially this chapter. Still have a lot of questions but won't know unless I read the LN and idk if I'll do that; maybe if the translation is good. Like, did OG Himawari experience consciousness via both her double and MC? Since she seems to realize how much pain it caused him that her double wouldn't know about. I was honestly invested in this story and hate that it got axed. Yet shit like Rent a Girlfriend is over 400 chapters now.
Also, Kaede was best girl and girlfriend. Though we only got to see a small amount of their relationship, it was honestly really nice and well done despite it being so short. Their short relationship was better than most relationships in other mangas.

So she put him thru all that bs and pain so that they wont split up with her and its was her double that messed thing up too. I say she's selfish af. Love really made MC like a punching bag and he seem to be okay with it. They end up splitting highschool at end too so whats the point? Atleast say it properly that she feel the same way to MC, made it clear instead of blushing, he deserve that atleast.
