I never liked the concept of humanistic approach in psychological intervention because it really feels like as a therapist you're doing fuck all and it's hard to quantify empirically, but anyone worth their salt would admit that it's useful.
This premise has potential, It's a follow for me.

That's the psychology equivalent of saying "I don't trust doctors. I don't like someone assessing my health." I wouldn't call you weird, I'd call you stupid. That being said, I do understand the discomfort of having to trust someone to untangle your thoughts.
