The pacing really captured how overwhelmed Yumiko is and how alone she feels right now for me.

Hopefully they take their time to really flesh out the conflict though without being too torturous, but we gotta remember that she's technically very much a newbie here compared to everyone else, even Chika.

I can't wait for this manga somehow spin it as Ono just being a concerned senpai or some such bullshit. I'd understand it more as tough love if Ono wasn't also talking shit behind Utatane's back.

Peeps mention the anime (I didn‘t watch) and why they might do it like this in the manga but it was TERRIBLE to read.
Not because of the content but because of how dogshit the pacing and scene changes were.

Also, fuck them all. This is not even remotely close to a professional environment.
