Oh don't worry, I certainly won't go there. But don't expect me not to express disappointment when they pick up a series I enjoy, because that means the group scanlating will drop it and I won't be able to recommend it to new readers since the chapters will be locked away on their site.

comikey is one of the worst services i've ever seen. it's on par with many mobile and multiplayer games shops these days. you need to unlock chapters (even short .5 chapters) with like 3 keys and you need to pay 2 Euro to get 20 keys but the whoole translation between digital currency at odd rations make you loose sight of how much money you're actually paying each time. and then they add some extra currency that comes with higher payment options, but that extra currency only lasts 5 days, so it forces you to essentially spend your money quickly.

it's sad such a platform is slowly taking over many good series.

It's their way of circumventing credit card charges, they charge small amounts so comikey doesn't have to pay for service charges. And I think they sell keys that doesn't match how the cost so you'll always be left with some spare keys not wanting to waste those keys people would buy more.

It's pretty bad, though still not as bad as MangaUp where you lose access to the chapters you paid for.
