Shame that all the battles ended with just SMASH HARDER. I expected at least some swapping opponents at girls side since they seemed to be the same types as the ones they choose to fight (magic vs magic, atk vs def, regen vs dot).
And for someone with multiple spirits, it was really shame that the only good move (turning wall into sand) was done by the Gnome itself. And don't even get me started on the whole divine protection that tanked 90% of the damage this whole fight. 1st hit would have been okay to be blocked, since it was surprise attack. But the rest could have been evaded. Few chapters ago he could go against Eidos (or whatever it's name was) thanks to all his training and it was good thing. I know that the author wanted to make a point that his skills mean nothing against overwhelming strength, but then why did he asspull MC win with magic sword in the very same chapter?
Eh, at least I got some fluffy dragon.
