This hasn't had a consistent release since Kirei Cake's last release over a year ago. Also LOL imagine complaining about a free translation LOL. And also imagine complaining about a specific group every single time they post when you could just block them from your feed and be done with tme completely LOL. The thing is they ruin the manga by censoring what has no censor to begin with (like in Legend) and probably translation not being good as the other group. And overall quality as whole too...

I wont be surprised if they censor that demon woman breasts with cleavage into a white mess... but i won't even want to look at it to see if is true or not.

You are right....partially.
While it's true that it's "free translation" (it's not so free, since someone had to commission this translation), it's also a fact that their translations are somewhat headache-inducing, with a hint of weird syntax that smells of poorly checked mtl, and they censor anything "suggestive" (like a décolleté) to the point one has to ask why do they even work on these mangas if they have to censor things.

Anyway, what I wanted to focus on was: please....just please, let's stop with this "it's free translation, we can't complain".
No dude...if i go to the restaurant and they serve me a plate of fuming shit, I'm going to complain even if it is free.
Plus, since the other group already takes long time to put out a chapter (but it's better quality), if this mass release pisses them and they stop working, we readers that care will lose a better quality TL...so, yeah, we can complain.

Shit mtl is not contributing as it does nothing positive for a series, and that along with sniping can actively make series die out since some translators will just drop series due to it.

What doesn't do anything is going around spamming "thanks for the translation" on series you don't read especially on a series that already had a competent translation uploaded a month ago when UTOON posted their garbage like you did. (isekai craft ch 31)

They are complete ass at translating anything Japanese but a few Korean series I'm reading they are the only option and aren't as bad on except that they censor stuff which is way more schizo than anyone complaining and there's no option to only block them on specific series. It's just that fucking easy. 99% of "drama" is whiners and schizos who shit up the board spilling their spagetti because they think more than one group posting a series will somehow lead to the end of the world.

It's toxic posters shitting up the board with this garbage that leads to legitimate hard working and good groups to drop out of the scene. Just look at what happened with Tonikaku Scans and Sono Bisque Doll. A group works diligently on a series from the first chapter for 5 fucking years, and they post a release a couple days after another group does and fucking worthless ingrate shit all over them. People shit on UTOON/Manwhafreak for how they handle series in general alongside the shitty mtl and schizo censorship they do on a series on a whim. Also lol "I read both" like bull shit, you spend too much time commenting "Thanks for the TL" on series to bother reading everything not to mention thanking someone for a lesser product you already read in a better form is a joke.

Like might want to look up definitions mate because that's also taking the side of the groups you know have been putting in the actual effort to put up better translations and not just MTL slop since people get defensive for groups they see in a good light, not to mention not wanting a good series to die out due to MTL snipes also doesn't fall under selfish or foolish, really seems like you just want to sling insults to people that don't agree with you. Putting up worthless translations on a series that already has a better translator or in some cases has a decently active translator that already had said chapters up like UTOON does with their snipe-esque stuff is the definition of selfish/foolish. The translation they made for those series might as well not be made at all and if it did cause the current translators for said series to drop it then it kills the series for who knows how long until someone else comes in to clean up the bad MTL groups rubbish.

There's so many better groups you could fight tooth and nail for and UTOON ain't it mate, it's toxic MTL posting groups that lead to legitimate hard working and good groups to drop out of the scene. If the translators new or doesn't have a full language grasp I've watched a number of comment sections help, pointing out errors and said translator fixing it in an all well meaning and light hearted fashion. It's only when a "translator" snipes an active series with MTL garbage and also ignores feedback that it gets more vicious in comments. UTOON/Manwhafreak for example doesn't care, I've seen them ban accounts on site for pointing out errors or calling out the censorship that doesn't make sense which is why people are pitchfork ready when they specifically post a snipe. The group has soured so many people and caused multiple issues with various series.

That said for a select few series specifically Korean ones they are the only option and are somehow better at the Korean translations than the Japanese ones so if you read any of those series you can't block them. Also yeah technically a series can have multiple translators but in reality it doesn't work out that way since in almost all cases a translator is working on a series because it doesn't have a translation so if a different group comes in and speeds past them with shoddy MTL they can drop it since the series would then technically have a translation. Like outside groups redoing badly done chapters I think I've seen multiple groups do the same series without much hassle like 3 times because it's a weird thing in general.

And yeah more people are willing to talk about the chapter when the translator or translation isn't shoddy or full of watermarks or translator added censorship.

Also multiple groups working on the same series almost never happens because it doesn't make sense. There's like 2 cases where a translator is working on a series either
1: series doesn't have a translation or
2: redoing badly translated chapters from MTL groups

Think I've seen 3-4 cases maybe of 2 groups translating something at the same time but in those cases usually both groups started said series around the same time and just both stuck with it. Which isn't the case with usual sniping cases where a group pops up, throws some mtl chapters up for the most recent ones then dips after a bit to leave a series to rot which is why people are so negative around sniping in general. A stereotype of the action so to say and UTOON/MWF are heavily prone to tossing out series.
