i'm not speaking about the quality of any group or defending mf in particular. what i am speaking out against is the toxic shitposting that happens when people perceive a group to be sniping. groups should release whatever they want, there's no rule otherwise. if you as the reader don't want to see their work, block the group. simple as. no need to shit up the board with bad vibes.

In this case manwhafreak and its multiple spawned groups (that act the exact same) largely snipes so they can try and effectively take over as many series as possible, pouring out so many MTL'd chapters that other groups may give up. Did I mention they have multiple identities, and often go for popular series, sometimes making it so they're the only way to read whatever?

What you call "toxic shitposting" (I mean come on, most forum posts are shitposts of varying degrees anyway) is deserved criticism in this case. Shitty, greedy behavior deserves to be called out, and things like constant, intrusive watermarks and translator-induced censorship frequently get called out regardless of the translating group. If you think it's toxic to protest such things, that's your problem.

As I said "99% of drama" is not from the groups, but from shitty posters who feel it's OK to take a fucking dump and gang bully a group like they're throwing a temper tantrum. the post that instigated this was complaining about sniping. i called that out as shitty posting. the others piled on using utoon's bad reputation (which i said i won't get into) as an excuse to further reply to me even though sniping is the point i was focused on. it's clear the only motivation people have for shitting on this group now, despite their other numerous and regular releases is the perception of sniping. and this absolutely relates to gds because sniping and hoarding are all part and parcel with the entitlement pie. for proof that poor quality translations and censorship are just a pretense to shit on a group just look at the other thread (GDS's new release of Oidasareta which is not censored or a poor quality MTL), where shitty posters are having an absolute chimp out about GDS's hoarding rather than talk about the fucking chapter. bottom line is this is all about entitlement. the lesson to be learned is if you don't like a group block them. don't shit up the board with garbage complaining about sniping or about hoarding. nobody wants to see that shit.
