...Honestly, the author handled that far better than i was expecting. Lugh managed to turn her down, but in a way that left her understanding exactly what she was asking of him. I was worried about Talt getting her feelings hurt (that one panel on p.17 made me almost wish Lugh would go through with it, just to reaffirm her self esteem) but Lugh managed to weave his way through all the pitfalls and let her down gently.

With this, however, Lugh can't really keep treating the girls as little kids anymore. No one can remain the same, however, and not all change is bad. Even Lugh has grown tremendously over the years; ask yourself this, if it had been the old Lugh that Talt propositioned, the one that had just crossed over, would he have held back to avoid hurting her? Or would he have seen it as a good opportunity to create an effective asset, and thrown young Talt onto a bed without a shred of guilt?

Also, how often does he see it that Lugh can recognize his mother's negligee? What kind of genre are we in right now? (As if the H-doujins didn't practically write themselves at this point)

In some other titles, clothing was defined as expensive articles in stories like these, so only aristocrats could always afford brand new. So it's not unusual for people to wear hand-me-downs or buy second-hand clothing, since they're cheaper and still serviceable. I'm assuming that's what happened here, and Talt received it from Lugh's mother...apparently with her blessings. Mom probably just bought a new one, or she has reserves.

That makes sense.

At one time, servants would recover spent tea leaves and dry them for resale to the poorer members of the public. The very inferior tea that they made was still worthwhile to some of the public. There must have been a reasonable side-gig by domestic servants to sell spoiled linens or used up clothing as well. But the best items of those discards would be kept in reserve for personal use (strictly out of sight of the master's family to prevent embarrassment) or maybe to be gifted to others in return for favors or a promise of obligation.

The Tuatha Dé household seems to be much more informal, without the barriers of strict class division that might be found in other Baronial houses. In part, this informality may be the privilege of "personal servants" such as Tart, who is also trained in the family techniques. She is practically an adopted daughter in that regard, having also received her Sharingan eyes. And the Mistress looks on her as a potential vessel for a grandchild as well.
