This sounds reversed. Logically - he would not have an excuse, regardless of if he fails. But he has to win to have authority to speak in fufuture.
Nah, he can publicly blame the nobles from shirking from a threat he couldn't beat by refusing to send the hero in order to protect their necks.Page 5:

Oh yes, another beetle-type enemy. chirp chirp Show them your power my brethren!
The elytrae (or elytron), that is the hardened shell that covers their wings, is also tough enough to repel rat bites.I wish they weren't enemies--they look cool, especially stag beetles, rhinoceros bettles, and Hercules beetles; they also tend to be depicted as strong--which they are in reality, relative to their size.
I forget if it was the official anime or another fan translator, but somebody translated her as Tarte once, and I think that's the best version of her name, unless there is some cultural celtic reference behind the name Talt, like there is with the Tuatha De familyP12, one instance of "Tart" instead of "Talt"
But as others have said, really good job on the TL.

Right now there are 3 plotlines going on. Lugh's angel mission to kill/tame Epona while fighting demons, Lugh's family mission to cull evil from the noble class as an assassin, and the Angel being shady with her reincarnation chapters amd basement computer.lol I'm getting confused on where this plot is going now actually because before it was epona is out of control and will destroy the world and then he got her under control so I figured it would be the after the war abandonment destroys the world but he...kind of figured that out too what IS THE PULL
I completely forgot that the angel has a ulterior motive, that makes more senseRight now there are 3 plotlines going on. I think the plot is going towards the reincarnating angels having a sinister agenda, going off how shady she was the last time we saw her (it's been a while). Along the way I think we're gonna have Lugh overthrow the aristocracy and give Epona a happy retirement, and the angels probably wanted her out of the way to make their goals easier, but made the mistake of giving the wrong guy power, doubling their problems. Until then Lugh is going to continue his family business of culling the nobles one at a time, open to the idea that he'll either use propaganda to start a rebellion or use c4 on every city block as seen here if the nobles get too uppity.
Considering we see how he doesn't like how diffuse corruption is in the noble class and is willing to kill them all at once, while his father is just killing them only when ordered to, maybe there will be conflict there too. Like he'll say "sure they're all evil, but they're still necessary so we can't kill them all, son. Just some of them." And try to get in the way of Lugh's anti noble campaign
