It really doesn't make sense when you think about it, more so if you also account EX or X rank to be higher than A or even S.

I like MC's idea of using ⭐'s as being higher than A rank. Kids get gold star stickers when making accomplishments, more stars=good rank is an easier concept to grasp for all ages than whoever the hell came up with that ranking system.
