If you're gonna release the parts with a few days difference why not just combine them and release a normal chapter. All it does is hurt the manga when it's split into parts, there's no immersion, nothing memorable. It doesn't even register that I read something, it took me literally 90seconds to read, no way am I remembering anything.

I'm so sick of game UIs being in manga. It's never used well and just detracts from the story. That's how you can tell a well made Isekai/fantasy manga from the mediocre or bad ones.

Congrats to the Translator for having added the edible plant name with the proper Japanese name (Crow's Pea) under the fantasy name that the author choose.
That said, the actual name of the plant in English is vetch, or common vetch and the author did a good job drawing it.

So I'm dropping this, I'm currently reading the LN version and it's got alot of changes that make no sense and let's just say this series will be so SoL with minor action (that gets glassed over) that people will wonder. It's a 99% cooking series.

In LN it's the gamer screen but the thing is there was no voice, he just (suddenly) subconciously knows he can do it the morning after he regains his memories. It's one of the changes that makes no sense to me and with how they are changing around the events a bit before we are even out of ch1 in the LN I'm like no bueno lol.

Can't they just make it that the character "feels" whether something is dangerous? It's more magical, and somehow more believable, and more appropriate given the genre, that having some digital screen flash before them telling them it's poisonous.

You need to train your short term memory, build a mind palace for all of these shitty mangas we read.

Apropos the game UI, yes it's bad. I like how "The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash" solves it, the FMC just hears some whisper every now and then, enough to provide insight but it isn't an OP cheat ability. Sort like malkavian hallucination in VTMB.

Honestly this amalgamate the most annoying tropes for me.

1. Locals that apparently have no idea about their world and they need a Japanese neet to show them what they can eat IN THEIR HOMETOWN. No people in any era weren't idiots.

2. Past life knowledge combined with gamer UI. Like should I actually root for somebody that basically is cheating and is master herbalist without any effort?

3. MCs that are not even fazed by suddenly remembering their previous life or reincarnate.

It's because it's a cliche. I don't remember what series it was, but I read one where the MC described their stat screen, and was told that each person perceives it differently, only the reincarnators see a game screen, it's what they expect to see, normal people get a feeling or understanding without a display.
