I think the author is tactful enough to avoid that. I’d guess something like the struggles that follow from having a bunch of new and different people to integrate their needs into the existing society, because that would match up with the themes we’ve had so far. But I still come back to the power scaling. Even if there isn’t a sapient enemy, there has to be some sort of struggle and our cast as a whole is much more prepared for such a struggle than they were 15 chapters ago. Maybe the author will pull a Last Exile sequel move and have Yakone be crippled from overexerting herself.but I hope it's a generally positive one and the author doesn't fall into the trap of old=bad
