I read "Eldritch" in Engrish and suddenly realized why they keep mentioning "Elder Liches" in Overlord. Previously that had always confused me because they skipped Lich and always said "Elder Lich", but now I think I get it. Eldritch sounds close to Elder Lich in Engrish.

Considering how superstitious people are and strong desire to believe what they want to believe rather than truth or fact he really should cover the window with a blanket while making potions during the day. That way less chance of someone seeing the flash and getting suspicious. Couldn't hurt to get some equipment and actually learn some alchemy in case has to show can make the potions. Otherwise anyone who takes an interest in him due to the amount and quality of potions, or just because he's a new face showing potential, could have him followed and spied on resulting in questions on where his potions are coming from. Still irritated he's treating women as conquest targets rather than people.
Knew he'd irritate the wrong person at some point with his attitude. Poor guy, it's a wonder can still think about sex after being traumatized by a toothless old lady. Agree the brainwash was to get more money coming in, but I believe the trauma and chastisement was to straighten his crooked character. Can't blame her much for doing that to him. He treated one of her girls like a object could do what he wanted because he paid for it and saw her just as another notch on his belt of conquests with little or no thought to her feelings or satisfaction. Likely have had a bunch of similar minded types previously who cared not for responsibility, and felt could be as abusive or violent as wanted because they were them and had paid a couple coins for the night. Then left without a care for whether or not they might be a father or injured/scarred their victim badly enough that can't work, and earn income, for a few days or rest of their life. Lucky for MC uses remove status ailments as part of his routine so broke free. Would have been curious to see if she'd ever tone down or removed the brainwashing at some point or just kept it up as long as could.
Be interesting to see how spell affected him in the future considering the comment about it at the end. Old lady's reaction to him not showing up possible because dead not surprising as have a lot of johns come and go, not responsible for him outside brothel, and likely still irritated about his actions and attitude towards Hime and the others.
