Didn't expect a scammer ring, nic thatMC will put it down fast, wouldn't be surprising if the government starts to announce on TV thatthe threat is gone for good and to be aware of this frauds, the easy solution is to simply put out on TV for like a week how criminals are trying to rob people with it and the official army number to call..

This was a important chapter even because it made clear is not that the war stopped because the aliens remaining were so few and weak but they got all defeated and it was confirmed.
I personally had still a doubt about MC getting called back, that could still happen, but it being for a alien attack is almost absent.
Of course, to keep the stakes high I'm sure the author wil one day add a army faction that is rebelling using their powers, terrorists aquiring the tech or something like that, humans will be the next annoyance.

Actually bringing some of the aliens could be a way to get how the social tension was during the war. For Japan the war seems to have been almost nonexistent with food and materials currently widely available. And even doing better that USA during and after ww2.
