First, congratulations on your thesis defence! What was your subject and level? I remember mine was a torture up to the point where I entered the room and was told that I passed, and then the real grilling began. This was in the UK, where they've been flaying students for centuries.
Second, thanks for the chapter. Its so nice to read this on the familiar, comfortable site. The new arc looks like being a thrill ride and no mistake -- at least not so far.

I don't like this direction. It's hard to pull off.

Not really thrilled with the new plot twist. Its an unnecessary twist due to there already being plenty of obstacles, drama, suspense, etc within the Feudal Era setting already to feel the need to bring other "travelers" into the mix. Would have much rather they had kept it to just her.

Still, I never stop getting a kick out of her facial expressions. Absolutely love them.

Maybe the sword guy is the MC's kid with someone from past. If the younger man is the grandfather, and the grandfather then ground his teaching into his granddaughter so she could save his own butt and not break the time loop, then there must be a way back to the future.

Like others, not a fan of multiple "travelers". My main reason is simple: just because u are from the future doesn't mean you can do anything with your modern knowledge. She, personally, had experience with the things she's doing and, we have to look at her as an exceptional student that delved into "how these instruments work". Most people aren't like that. You may have a basic understanding of how a water wheel, for example, works but that doesn't mean u have the skills and knowledge to recreate a working one. She is made to be exceptional in this area and this is what gives us our story. But, if these other "travelers" act the same(like so any other manga make them) , then it's complete bs from that point on. Most ppl USE modern tech and learned a very small portion of it in school. Only a small percentage of ppl want to know how that modern tech works and try experimenting on their own. We'll see how the story progresses from here to decide on "outstanding" or "just another flop".
