Spinning blades was his third attack. Go reread chapter 18. He tried slashing swordplay, stabbing levitation attack, then spinning levitated attacks. Nothing worked.

I re-read it. Didn't see a single drill. I saw stabs, slashes, spinning blades like saws (which is still just slashing) and harder slashes and stabs. Zero drills, so try again.

And not once did the idiot try to spin the blade. A drill would have done great damage to mud.

I said spinning and drill consecutively. Not spinning the blade in a disk like a saw. Spinning it like a drill bit. See the difference?

@Riger the difference is you expect some nonsense attack that not exist and is pointless when fighting. Piercing is your kind of drill if not rotate or spin, and that's also using a lot of force to get it through.
are you call yourself smart when every knowledge you learn is your own and not from someone else?

Meh, no need to fight over this, guys. It's a common trope in movie where a character learn some skill/knowledge that is just happen to be crucial to bring down the baddie but 99% worthless outside of that one scenario so it's easy for MC to forget it.

So, he has a hate boner for the goddess? Interesting.

So, it seems like the "goddess" of this world is a person from his world and someone who was his enemy. (She kinda looked like a queen)
The evil god has the same name as his leader, and he had comrades who are twins.

This makes me think that the divine war mentioned in ch 1 was actually just a war between his mercenary group vs the queen-like woman. I wonder if this world came to be as a result of this queen's power, hence she became the goddess.
And somehow MC got pulled into this world. That's why he viewed the goddess as his enemy.
