Higher calory consumption is possible, not thst much higher i think tho than MC given her smaller stature. Her dragonform itself wouldnt require food since its a trasnformation and is sutained by mana. Not to mention the fact she's stronger than MC, and has certain attacks that would make hunting bigger game (which there seems to be very very large varities of around) actually viable. All that combined i dont think she'll be a liability but an invaluable asset when it comes to hunting and their continued survival
