Colors have a major symbolism in this manga, green being Futaba and purple Takeda. We also have yellow for Natsumi who used to paint her nails that color except her ring finger one which was green... That is until the whole "getting over my Futaba girlcrush" arc ended, represented by her starting to paint all her nails yellow. Also, Yuuto is represented by yellow too.
