The 2nd chapter hints at this story having serious themes and darker notes, likely addressing suicidal thoughts later too.
Not sure why there's so much hate for this already. The trope is certainly nothing new, but so far this does have the potential to become one of the few good interpretations of this trope. And despite the suggestive tag, this story doesn't seem to abuse it, which is also a plus.
Let's see where this is going. I just hope that I won't be left disappointed in the future after writing all this, lol.

After reading the first chapter:
The main character is an idiot with low self control, and the kouhai is jailbait for sure. Both characters have the potential to be relatable. Read at your own risk, I won't.

Not bad tbh, I don't like the age difference but it's refreshing to see a collected MC(at least when dealing with her) who isn't taking advantage of a minor in a Japanese manga. Pretty rare, I'll keep my eye on this.

Chapter 3 is some woeful story telling, just telling Chapter 2 from another perspective. If I had spent money on buying this comic, I would feel ripped off. The Japanese don't half struggle with gimmicks to try and make their story telling interesting, and they never work. Just write a good story. Stop thinking flashbacks make things good. They don't.

I wasn't too conformable already with the age gap, but now knowing there will a love triangle (probably) after chapter 5, it's a clear confirmation It wasn't meant to be.

even beyond the very sus content, which many have mentioned, the translation on this one is just straight up bad. Its either machine translated with no editing, or the people translating it to english dont speak english as their first language.

The absolute nerve to have your first page on every chapter be a patreon link when your work is this sloppy.

Don't be fooled by the extremely sus premise, this is legit well written. Underneath the slightly ecchi oggling of a teenager is a transgressive tale with some heavy themes, and so far has only been getting better as the story progresses. If the idea of a teenager living with an adult of the opposite sex who has no relation to them, with some suggestive tone and drawings, appalls you to such a degree that you can't bear to read it, even if nothing untoward actually happens, then that's understandable. For everyone else, this is worth at least checking out.

Also I'm sure this will ruffle some feathers but honestly nothing in this is even that bad, and I feel like a lot of the hate it's getting in the forums here is performative, or from people who are so sick of creepy bullshit in their manga that they've become allergic to the very notion of it and don't bother to examine the work in question (which honestly can't even blame them for it sometimes). Though some of the comments also seem like they are from people who are going out of their way to look for something to hate.
