kinda hope this wraps up in 10 more chapters or so, the pacing has felt pretty good so far and i don't see how it would take more than 10 chapters to deal with Kurokawa when it took 20 chapters to deal with the rest of them. even though he is the big bad of the story i guess

Tends to be the fate for characters that have already lost everything and are only out there for revenge. After all, for most of them, there's not much left in life after their revenge succeeds. Especially in cases like this one, where her image has been tarnished even FAR outside of the school grounds.

Even if she succeeds in getting her revenge, most people don't change their minds overnight regarding an incident on this scale. Public opinion of her is likely to stay negative and if her methods of punishing the others comes to light, very likely most people won't approve of it and may ask for her to be judged. She's basically sentenced to die by her own hands after her revenge is over since her life is very much ruined, unless the writer can somehow pull off a path leading to her public redemption in a way that makes at least some sense.

It's a tragedy, Shakespearean levels of - so, no one involved gets to walk away, not even the protagonist, 'natch. Just like the end of Hamlet, everyone dies.

She's a revenant, she already died in that car crash that took her baby. That's the vibe she gave off, and characters with that archetype tend to die after exacting revenge because they were already dead from the moment they were wronged.
