but honestly it's still fairly realistic tho. During highschool is when you make the best bro for most people. At least that was the case for me, nothing stopping the highschool trio.

Part of me would say you're over thinking. However, Kaeda wasn't the only one hurt that day. They FOUND him. His friends were the ones who found him, lying on the floor. It's not just traumatic for Kaeda. His friends went through the trauma of knowing that an a horrible action happened so close to them. They were scarred too. You even notice in the manga they don't talk to girls or bother with them. It didn't happen to them but I'm not surprised if they were scared too.

I don't think so because they are his childhood friends. He was r@ped in middle school and they supported him even then. There is very little chance of anything happening between them in primary school. The closest I can think of is that the teacher was somehow related to them and they feel guilty about it and want to support MC through his trauma.
