I hated Tsubasa as much as everyone else for obvious reasons, but ending it with her getting her own trauma as a direct result of her going out of her way to make things right is kinda fucked. And leaving it all off with "theres no cure for trauma, deal with it for the rest of your life" is absurdly cynical. Like, yeah life is a bitch, but thats not the kind of message youd want from a supposed story about the struggles of sexual assault victims.

Izumi is so lackluster that people keep asking who this new guy is even though he shows up right on page 1 of this chapter...

I wanted to see more of gyaru classmate, sigh.
Also, Rio will stay a best girl until proven otherwise.
Kaede's Arc Resolution felt rushed.

In the end, we don't even know the ex-teacher's name. She was too contemptable of a character to deserve one.

Dangerous move to change MC like that, you run the risk to lose some readers. And well, they lost me. I'm out, peace y'all. I hope you have fun in the next arc.

Welp, looks like Tsubasa can finally wear a proper trauma badge beyond "my parents sheltered me from sexual materials"

Also I find it weird that people here are misinterpreting her "I'll be sure to meet a wonderful prince next time" as some kind of slight against Kaede.

The two of them are over (romantically) and want to find an ideal next partner (if possible) for themselves. It's literally just her saying "hopefully my next love will work out" the same way Kaede would be like "damn, if only there was someone almost exactly like Rio-san" lol

Ending is weird, it skips a lot of information that could’ve helped brought it home, but tsubasa having trauma is so sad, I feel for her like kaede you don’t deserve this pain to understand me but also tsubasa made a important note of her karma coming back to her, it’s unfortunate it adds up but the teacher appearing I fear he should be out the state atp if she’s still active and out there looking for him, that amongst everything I think would give kaede significantly more trauma instead of him being about to lock in like the whole theme was trauma seeing your rapist stab your ex girlfriend would have me snorting antidepressants with a vodka cranberry not smiley and strong

I’ve caught up to the most recent chapter and the next arc will be about the third friend. I wonder if the author set up Tsubasa’s trauma to be the 4th arc. 🤔

What is that face at the end that Tsubasa has? Is she still disgusted by Kaede? Or is she now fearful and perhaps having some sort of ptsd after she nearly got stabbed? How can the story end there? I feel like Tsubasa had potential for more growth as a character especially after she protected Kaede. Not that I was expecting them to get back together, but I feel like ending the story here is a little premature and abrupt. Also wanted to see more of Rio-san and her backstory.

Yeah I feel like that would traumatise Kaede even more and make him more reluctant to have relationships fearing that his past could come back and hurt them. I know that would be a character regression but I can only imagine how traumatising it would be to see the person who hurt you hurt someone you cared about because of you.
I wasn't sure if that face Kaede was making was trauma or disgust or some weird mix. Doesn't look good and looks like she probably won't want anything to do with Kaede, since the implication seems to be that he's the trigger. Sad to see, and sad for her to think that was some form of karma she had coming. She didn't need to be stabbed just as Kaede didn't deserve to be molested.
