I just realized. Maybe his daughter is wendy. That ear comment made me check on wendy and she has colored hair and pretty wide ear
Are you talking about Windy? Because I was under the impression Windy was a guy. Personally, I’m thinking it might be either Angel or Kanon, because while both of them had their parents killed by invaders at a young age, we don’t really know if they could’ve been foster families or not.

Oh, he genuinely had a psychotic break under the stress of uh...
1. his dream creation only being good when someone else writes it
2. his only success was as an actor, not a writer
3. his wife is a fucking magic priestess and It's All Real Dude
4. The lead actor fucking killed someone because he's crazy apparently and nobody fucking noticed until they found the goddamn body!!

Obviously the next step is to invent tokusatsu monsters and give people superpowers in the most unethical way possible.

This arc has been genuinely crazy as hell, dude. Probably the peakest arc yet. Shiritani fell within his own mind trap and now there's no way out for him.

Sanae's got a different family name here. She was introduced as "Shirai" a few chapters ago, and her married name was Midorikawa. I assume it's meant to be a pen name, maybe?
She just hasn't gotten married yet.

Right, and her maiden name, per her flashback introduction, was Shirai (which is interesting of its own accord, with the color-themed names, I feel like, since hers has the kanji for "white" in it).

I also made a comment on the previous chapter. Basically Kanon has the right age, while Angel is too young for it.

The timeline is kinda weird.

Hard to make sense how they go from making a tv show to developing weapons of mass destruction and human experimentation within just a few years. Yellow definitely isnt a scientist either.
Next chapter will explain how Shinya and His Wife turn into Scientists

Foreshadowing spotted. Im guessing yellow is having some major imposter syndrome issues given that his writing isn't really doing well but he's finding success as yellow ranger. Similarly he's ambivalent about Red's murder since he may have wanted to not report it but did so anyways. Consciousness get the better of him or?
Congratulations, you... Summarised the chapter lol.

If Kiritani really developed Dissociative Identity Disorder, it seems clear he's feeling torn between his original persona/ego and his current wish for the project to succeed (AKA, sacrificing his self, his morals and truly embracing the role as Yellow Keeper). In other words, he has acted so much that he is "becoming" the character. Notice how they say "You've been acting better lately, your lines have more conviction".

At first I thought Yellow didn't ever take the suit off because he was just paranoid he could be attacked anytime, but now I'm sure it's just his Yellow Keeper persona standing on top and keeping control. That's why Kiritani without the suit (in the dreamworld) is so different. That's his original ego, but without any memories, before everything began.

The question I have now is: is he the case where putting on the suit automatically switches his Alter Ego? Or is it more like his Yellow persona must try to wear the suit in order to feel like himself? In other words, is the suit a trigger, or is it just an implement? Because if it's the former, that could finally be his weakness.

I'm so freaking lost with this manga. Seriously, what's even going on? What's even the whole idea of adding so, so many characters in a story about rangers and invaders? I can't even remember being so lost while reading a chapter since Fire Force.

I was so lost too but after rereading it gets more and more understandable. I’m loving this

I have a theory,

So basically Kiritani got frustrated because he's not good enough to be the main writer. He then snitched on Akabane and basically ruined the show and his career.

After all of this, Kiritani would make a deal with "The Devil" so he can make his story AKA "the Dragon Keepers" real. And that deal might possibly sacrificing his wife and her sisters to gain their power.

In chapter 165, his wife said that Divine Dragons used to protect the land and repel calamity with their powers. But since it's connection to humans is weaker, they need the Dragon priestess to bind the Dragon's power. So I guess the reason why they let Kiritani used the Divine Dragon's name for his show is to create a new connection to the humans of the present day.

And that's why the Sunday Show where we see the Dragon Keepers fight the Footsoldiers is so important. Without it, the Divine tool will lost it's power since it'll lost its connection with humans. That's why the show must go on forever.

And for the "Divine Script", that's the script that will end this whole show. If this show ends then no more Dragon Keeper, but most importantly, no more Divine Tools and Divine Dragon. Well I don't know what will happen if it did, but that'll be interesting to find out.

This or I'm trippin
