footsoldiers arent one entitity, they just share an energy source
wait before D got stuck in the company delusion and flashback and before the whole fight didn't D go back to the fortress and make a offhanded comment about them all being the same being or something while looking at what was basically a giant core that is also his existence

Wait what so he doesn't love her wife anymore?
dude did not read this chapter he loves his wife he loved his child he loved working as a fucking farmer for the shrine maiden family the thing of it was that there was a part of him deep down that wasn't okay and even if he could suppress it if he could ignore it he couldn't keep it in check so the end of the chapter was his solution.

that he casually created futuristic cloning tech using infinite energy or whatever means hes probably just bullshitting the interrogation. the story given here is probably autobiographical, but ironically given from the character its largely fake.

maybe hes just some guy who is a genius who stumbled into dragon stuff by accident, but without any sort of morals on his part he slaughters and harvests all of the priestesses for their energy. it makes sense from the point of view of a mad scientist type character he'd say that cloning tech was easy, brief over the death of his son, create this elaborate fake backstory and dedicate the discovery of an unlimited power source into making his favorite show real.

This makes sense, although I'm sure it was the artist that killed the priestesses. we know that the "artist" part of him doesn't have empathy because after he found out Akabane killed someone his reaction was acceptance for the sake of the show.
It was the "family man" that reported Sousei to the cops. The only half with a moral compass

What in the flamboyant fak was that transition- losing his sanity made him quite the mad scientist. He went from writing scripts to writing programs to rebuild humans, and extremely well, at that!

Well, at least that explains why there're two of him, but I just feel bad for his wife. From losing a child to losing a husband, and being left with two shotas - what a mess. He left behind quite the filthy tale there.

Thanks for the translations!

Literally came here to type this… if dude had enough technical skill to build a fucking cloning device then why the hell was he struggling writing tokusatsu for a living :thonk::questionblob::notlikethis::wtf::question:

Edit because ppl think im saying that being good at one should make him good at the other:

No, I meant why was he wasting his time and his talent writing tv shows instead applying himself in something better suited this engineering / scientific skill (that has come out of nowhere)
Well your skills and talent doesn't neccessarily overlap with you passions.

The actual problem here is that we never got a hint that he was a genius in Bio, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering before this so it just kind of came out of nowhere. (And that's just the minimum of the credentials you need to even create a cloning device)

if we explored that maybe when he was younger he was a a genius in everything he did but his passion, and how in choosing passion he wasn't being rewarded materially or recognition; but if he chose the talent & skill route he wouldn't be personally fullfilled this would've transitioned better. It would've even enhance the duality aspect of his character too, but hey, hindsight is 20/20

Oh what you want Divine Dragon power to have a super detailed explanation? Really? You want this manga to waste several pages of panels on a reddit tier explanation of the power system?
No, I really don't think you do. I think you would mock that if this series did that, because it would be stupid.
Use your brain for 2 seconds to fill in the blanks.
lol wtf are you replying to? I said the story has gotten insanely dumb not that it would be better if they explained why this communications major is a geneticist or that the story was confusing. use your own fucking brain and read the post you reply to, asshole.
