It's been a whole year and D still hasn't fully regrown his leg? Last time he got hurt by a divine tool it didn't took him that long to heal.

D never recovered from the first divine tool injury. He just rearranges his mass to cover it up sometimes, you can still see the cracks pop up on his belt or face. Sakurama suggested that he do it all the way back in chapter 8! Usually when he's not focused or doing a lot of shapeshifting you see the cracks come back, it's a pretty consistent thing. He can't regenerate the leg in the same way.

the panel where sousei's face's lower half is covered in blood and the top half is left untouched is cool as shit because it mirrors an inverse of the ranger masks

The blood being that way also makes it as if he were wearing a mask, because the mask prevents the rest of the face from getting blood on it—like he has an unseen mask. However you look at it, it is really cool.

I thought the cracks were more like scars after healing a big wound, considering the first time he got damaged by a divine tool he popped like a balloon, so after putting himself back together only the impact point showed the cracks/scar.

RIP Sanae ;_; Poor Momiji too losing her mom. I wonder what Rogue Red's gonna do since it doesn't seem like he teamed up with the Neo Rangers. Angel looks great, especially with the longer hair. It's pretty weird that she keeps her left eye closed when it was her right eye that she crushed with her Divine Tool Replica.

As sad as it was for Sanae, keep in mind that she was so caught up in her revenge that she risked everyone around her. Like, yeah of course she loved her daughter but it's clear that she put her anger at Red above that.

Had Sanae not let revenge take control of her, not only would she have lived but she probably would have been able to go further and help dismantle the entire Ranger organization.

For a manga that takes the ideas of "plot" and "foreshadowing" so seriously, this is a weird breach of continuity. Either that, or D is able to change which part of his body is "wounded" at will.
